How to create a blog of AWESOMENESS!

So here is my last blog for this course! I’m going to provide my top three recommendations for what restaurants can do to create amazing blogs because I do believe in the power of blogging!  If done well, it can really engage others and you as a company, can position yourself any way you want; just be real!

1.)   Content is key: write about something that adds value to the reader. For instance, ask yourself if this is something worth sharing. You could talk about seasonal ingredients for the month of April like rhubarb and capture a photo or two of your new menu item that features it too.

2.)   Keep it short: lists are great and so are short stories. Either way, people don’t like spending too much time reading. Stick to the point!

3.)   Make it visually appealing. No one wants to read content that has spelling errors, no photos, videos etc. People will have a tendency to read what you have to say if it is aesthetically pleasing.

There you have it. My top three tips and tricks to awesomeness!
Thanks for dropping by guys!

Good stuff – I like to keep it short too – attention spans are short in the twitter age!

  2. Those are good, I think there are some other tips you might add. That is a good start though! 🙂

I’m extremely inspired with your writing skills and also with the structure for your blog. Is that this a paid subject matter or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s uncommon
to look a great blog like this one nowadays.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and one that is so kind too! To answer your question, this is not a paid subject matter. I come from a Communication and Marketing background and decided to blog about what I am passionate about. My goal is to leave a positive impression by sharing my experiences and opinions of restaurants and food.
